Hello

Tina Cooke is a storyteller with a spellbinding spark — a one-woman creative force fueled by moonlight, mystery, and a lifelong imagination. Raised as an only child, she turned solitude into a superpower, conjuring vivid worlds from real-life threads and spinning them into thrilling tales. Her writing walks the line between the mystical and the emotional, like in her novel Black Wood Manor, where psychic twins, haunted estates, and ancestral secrets intertwine.

Whether she’s polishing a sentence, crafting the perfect event blurb, or bringing eerie scenes to life (complete with glowing rubies and cracked cauldrons), Tina writes with heart, instinct, and a clear love for the magic behind every story. Her words don't just entertain — they whisper, beckon, and pull readers deeper into the unknown.

✨ Creative. Dedicated. Magically grounded. Tina doesn’t just write stories — she summons them.

My Story

I live in Eastern Ontario, Canada with my very supportive and patient husband of 41 years. We are proud grandparents to our five grandchildren.  We are also proud parents to our son and daughter. My hobbies besides writing, are Puzzles, crochet and reading to name a few.  But I am sure you want to here about how I came to write this novel.  Well I grew up in the northern part of Ontario for most of my childhood, every weekend and holidays were spent up at the cottage, that's what I called it but it was a fair size house "the Manor" that my grandparents had. Every day I would wander the grounds, play at the beach, go swimming and the whole time I am having my own adventure that I imagined and involved my imaginary twin sister.  Never a day went by that I wasn't imagining some sort of adventure to play out.  As I got older and those adventures were to immature to do, I started writing the adventures down, they turned into stories that may have gotten lost or not finished. I usually wrote these down every time I had an idea for a story until one day many years into adulthood a friend popped by for a visit, I usually hide these stories from people but that day I was caught off guard.  She ended up reading it as I was busy making us some tea and lunch.  I was so embarrassed but to my surprise she said it was good and that I should think of publishing it. And that's how it all started.
